The Shoemaker was known as ‘Black Brookes’. He lived at the bridge over Snobs Creek in the late 1880’s. He passed on and the Creek would forever be names after his most important tool, The Snob. The small anvil used to shape the toe end of the boot.
The Brookes is a balanced wine, showing deep fruit textures of dark plum, generous mocha and spice with intense aromatics from characteristically small bunches. Integrated French and American Oak extend the palate and create a seductive, cool climate wine.
